System Engineer with experience in IBM AIX, required for the following -

• Provide administration and support for IBM POWER systems running AIX and PowerHA clusters.
• Monitor and analyse system performance metrics to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and implement AIX system architectures to meet business requirements.
• Actively monitor system alerts and respond to issues promptly.
• Assist with the migration of applications and databases running on AIX to cloud environments.
• Maintain an AIX and PowerHA patching cadence and periodically upgrade firmware on POWER hardware.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems infrastructure, procedures, and known issues.
• Assist with capacity planning of storage and compute resources.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and system failover testing.

Candidates should have minimum 7 years experience in IBM POWER, AIX, PowerHA, and NIM in addition to extensive Scripting knowledge and good understanding of Logical Volume Manager.

Excellent troubleshooting and networking experience will be also be required.
