Agile Project Manager - Cyber Security

£500pd through umbrella | Corsham & London | 2.5 months

My UK Government client is looking for a talented Agile Project Manager for a challenging 2.5 month project spilt 50/50 between Corsham and London.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Successfully evaluate new and emerging technologies specifically focused in the Cyber defence/offence and resilience areas in support of the global resilience of the defence networks.
  • Be the Security assurance/accreditation focal point for jHub Digital, who would engage directly with the ISS DAIS satellite team
  • Complete essential testing of products and offer options on opportunities to run both Alpha and Beta pilots in support of positively identified capabilities, having identified the technical integration issues, challenges and way forwards of integrating/delivering/exploiting new ICT technologies in to core.
  • Assess the technical merit of software solutions pitched to the jHub by external suppliers, especially those from the start up and Small Medium Enterprises.

Skills & Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of the critical ISS processes and how to complete them, such as:

    • Security processes and protocols
    • Project & Programme governance
    • Resilience & sustainability

  • Two or more of the following qualifications (or equivalent):

    • GCIH
    • GPEN
    • GCCC
    • GMOB
    • CISSP
    • OSCP
    • Crest/Tiger Scheme CTM
    • CTL

  • Demonstrable competence in two or more programming languages
  • Previous experience in generating scoping documentation
  • An in-depth understanding of cyber security principals including defence in-depth and 20 critical controls
  • Knowledge of IA policy including JSP440 and JSP604
  • Knowledge of security assessment methodologies such as OWASP, ISSAF, or OSSTMM
  • Ability to develop and present business cases against high-level initiatives, for approval, funding and prioritisation across the ISS stakeholder community as required
  • Able to use and recommend project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects in DART
