Data Processing Consultant for Luxembourg
We are looking for a Data Processing Consultant to work for a client project in Luxembourg.
Task description:
- Creating and maintaining a co-investment portfolio overview file (in excel), covering all the co-investment facilities and the underlying co-investments. The information to be maintained, adapted as needed, and updated regularly will cover the invested volume, history of drawdowns, valuation reporting and any other relevant input.
- Maintaining the system inputs and updates in the client system for the equity files, including accounting reconciliations.
- Collect information from different sources (eg email exchanges, spreadsheets and other documents, internal applications, external sources, etc) and structure, arrange, categorise the information according to instructions and archiving and centralising of information in dedicated repository as instructed (eg, GED or relevant application).
- Preparing and contributing to the regular reporting to Mandate Management including mandate reporting and cash flow management overview of the respective co-investment facilities.
- Collecting and providing relevant input for the Project Progress Report (PPR), Annual update on Risk of consolidation, and Climate scorecards, if applicable, the annual equity scoring and valuation, quarterly valuation to Financial Control (FC) based on available data sources.
- Dealing with drawdown requests, distribution notices and disbursement offers (including drafting of the disbursement offer when applicable) in line with the process and funding lines requirements of different mandates. Support the Investment Officer(s) in ad-hoc tasks related to the co-investment portfolio and in line with the scope of services (eg provision of data or supporting documents for waivers or contractual amendments).
- Support the Investment Officer(s) in the preparation of ad-hoc reports and/or presentations summarizing investment profile of the company and performance of the facilities.
- Process data in a timely and accurate manner ensuring quality (eg, accuracy, completeness, consistency), s/he will crosscheck the data according to the four-eye principle and according to procedures and instructions.
Job requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Initial professional experience in one or more of the following areas: banking, finance and accounting, economics, and information technology
- Professional experience preferable in the following domain of:
- (i) monitoring or analysing investment funds, investment projects, financing or lending facilities (or equivalent) as (equivalent to) analyst or associate (or advising such) and relevant tasks/projects involved, and/or
- (ii) data and reporting side of business in fund data vendor/asset manager and relevant tasks/projects involved.
- Clearly demonstrated analytical & and financial skills and/or financial reporting and valuation principles is an advantage.
- Other professional certification and/or a training certificate in Excel:
- Preferable in the domain of funds, banking, finance, accounting, economics and information technology.
- A very good knowledge and autonomy in Microsoft Office tools is required.
- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in English (minimum B2 European Level).
