About the Role

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our technology team as a Radiology Systems Specialist at our central office.

As part of the Clinical Systems team, this role involves supporting the design, development, management, optimization, deployment, and ongoing support of a new radiology software solution. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a seamless transition from the current Radiology Information System (RIS) to the new platform, contributing to business transformation and the adoption of standardized procedures across units and mobile services.

This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and an in-depth understanding of radiology workflows. Familiarity with system integration tools and healthcare IT standards is advantageous.

Key aspects of the role include documenting functional requirements for system changes, maintaining configuration records, and creating training materials to support staff adoption.

Skills and Experience

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of radiology workflows, including clinical and operational processes.
  • At least three years' experience working with Radiology Information Systems.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, IT-driven service environment, delivering excellent customer support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience resolving complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of fostering successful working relationships.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Desirable Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Health Informatics, Radiography, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with healthcare IT solutions and standards (eg, PACS, HL7, DICOM).
  • Knowledge of integration tools and systems, with experience in data migration projects.
