Engineering Lead/Platform Lead

• The role requires an individual with deep technical knowledge across a range of cloud technologies (including Linux, Azure, Microservices, Containerisation, Serverless, Office 365) and an outcome-oriented mind-set.
• A track record of working collaboratively with multiple teams across a business.
• Opportunity to lead a team of Software Engineers, DevOps Functions and Operations
• Must have Software Engineering Management Experience
• Strong Microsoft tooling development and or DevOps background (Azure)
• Able to lead, design, and think about best architected and designed solutions to problems
• Good project management and task management skills
• Strong experience in relevant vendor technologies with proven capability for setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a high-availability enterprise environment.
• General technical awareness of technologies in an enterprise cloud environment (Azure).
• Support, design, and plan the expansion and growth into a microservices architecture to enable performance, security, and scalability.
• Accountable for the effective delivery of defined changes within the scope of the role within the Platform Team.
• Proactively work with the wider teams across the business to ensure successful triage and resolution against Incidents.
