this position you will be responsible for:

  • Second Level Support for the global Mainframe online processing and the z/OS online components, like:
    • IBM MQ incl. Cluster
    • Common Services Framework
    • CART/DCL
    • LDAP
  • Incident management, including on-call coverage
  • Root cause analysis & problem management
  • Change and release management of z/OS components on the productive online environments
  • Administration of Unix Hostlink

You will be working in the Mainframe Online Services Support team Switzerland and ensure the second level support for our global z/OS Mainframe online components and the business processing. The team is responsible for duties throughout the processes incident and problem management, request fulfilment, change and release management. To guarantee the business requirements and SLAs, 'Online Services' has to prioritize the message processing within the z/OS Middleware, IBM MQ and CICS.

Your experience and skills

Experience and background required:

  • Good knowledge about
    • z/OS System components
    • TSO, ISPF and JCL
    • REXX Scripting language
    • CICS and IBM MQ
    • USS on IBM Mainframe
    • Basic DB2 and LDAP skills
    • Basic IT Knowledge, including Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work under pressure or in hectic situations
    • Willingness to provide on-call service within our 7x24 coverage
    • Good English and basic knowledge of German
