Reporting To: Jon Philpot DATE/REF: December 2024 Support the Business Winning Team in driving the Estimating process to deliver best value for money project estimates incorporating fully developed supply chain solutions. Contribute to improved project margins, quicker speed to market and enhanced client experience. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • On time delivery of accurate and competitive estimates & tenders. • Assess project requirements and work with Supply Chain colleagues to identify the best fit and best value supply chain. • Assist in negotiation with suppliers, value engineering, and creation of comprehensive production plans. • Liaise with Sales and Project Teams to ensure that all information required for tendering has been captured within the project briefs, and maintain clear and proactive communication with all internal stakeholders. • Contribute to accurate reporting and measurement of supply chain performance. • Assist in sourcing of new products, working with the Design and Development departments where appropriate. • Assist in ensuring the KPI requirements for the department are met, and accurately maintain departmental records to assist with inter-company marketing. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers. • Undertake any other duties reasonably assigned by the Line Manager. EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE • Previous estimating experience, with knowledge of production methods using metal, wood and plastics. • Previous experience of sourcing and negotiation. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. • Experience dealing with off shore supply is preferred. • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and numerical skills. • Must be a self-starter with a good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure. • Computer literate to a high standard. Full Time position. Salary commensurate with skills and experience. Full benefits package travel insurance, private medical, pension, 25 days holiday, access to in house gym and flexible working.
