Senior Content Editor - 6 month contract - Inside IR35 flexible day rate

Loriens leading public sector client are looking to add a Senior Content Editor to the team on a 6 month initial contract.

Fully remote option available

Responsibilities:

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in content editing, with a focus on websites, wider digital media, marketing, or journalism.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility requirements, specifically WCAG AA 2.2: Knowledge of accessibility requirements for public bodies and how to implement best practice in content.
  • Exceptional Writing and Editing Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to refine content for clarity, tone, grammar, and structure.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple content projects simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and providing constructive feedback to improve content quality.
  • Strong Understanding of SEO: Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimise content for search engines while maintaining readability and engagement.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Proficiency in CMS platform Umbraco (or other similar) and basic HTML knowledge.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product teams.
