Delphi Developer - 6 months - Hybrid (Farnborough) - Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Delphi Developer with expertise in Oracle and Delphi development to join a leading manufacturing organisation for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering changes to established financial applications and supporting production environments.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week required onsite in Farnborough for close collaboration with developers, analysts, and testers. This position is confirmed inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver changes to established financial applications, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Work collaboratively as part of a development team, sharing ideas, completing code reviews, and providing support as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including performing root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with analysts to refine requirements, define changes, and provide technical expertise.
• Assist testers in functional testing of changes to ensure quality delivery.
• Write and maintain documentation within JIRA and Confluence.
• Take initiative in problem-solving and self-managing tasks within a structured environment.

What You Will Ideally Bring

• Extensive programming experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Delphi (XE11).
• Experience with Windows client and server-based applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio C# is a benefit.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team with shared code stored in version control systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to share ideas effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows client use.

Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £425 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: 2x Per Week in Farnborough
• Start Date: ASAP
