3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

Senior 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer is required by our client based in Blackburn to join an established team of c7 engineers who are responsible for providing BAU support and project delivery across the business.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide top-tier support for our clients Servers and application services, lead critical infrastructure projects, and be the go-to technical resource for our clients support team. In quite a complex set up we need someone who is willing to adapt and rise to their challenges.

You will not need to necessarily be a Network specialist but someone who will be confident with Switches, gateway, access points, Cisco integrations etc. The Engineer will also need to have some experience with VM Ware and Storage.

As the Infrastructure Engineer you will manage a range of cutting-edge technologies ensuring their systems run smoothly and securely. Therefore, Candidates looking to apply to this position MUST have experience with as many of the following technologies as possible; Meraki, VMware, Fibre Based SANs, Domain Services (AD, GPO, DHCP and DNS), Networking Fundamentals IP, SM, GW), Microsoft 365 and its services, Azure and Intune (Auto Pilot), Meraki Switches, Firewalls, AP, MG and MX, Secure Connect SDWAN, Reverse Proxy, Sophos AV/SOPHOS MDR, Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Veeam & Synology Backups and Endpoint Central - Windows Patch Management.

Salary: £53,000 per annum (£3,000 Bonus after 1 year)
