We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Team Leader to oversee and manage critical IT infrastructure within our Local Government Authority. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring secure, reliable IT systems and a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 5+ IT professionals.
- Manage and support IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, resolving complex technical issues.
- Oversee the implementation of new IT projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Maintain IT security and performance, staying updated on industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 4+ years in a similar role.

- Proven leadership in managing IT teams and projects.
- Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
