Successful candidate must be willing to go through CTC
We are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join a busy Government client in there Maintenance Services Team
Role
Commercial management of service contracts at tender, mobilisation, operation and conclusion stages, including:
Managing benefits definition, realisation and assessment with regards to outsourced maintenance strategy including developing proposals to ensure best value is obtained at all times.
Identifying and preparing technical and commercial specifications to enable tender and procurement of specialist maintenance contracts across the Parliamentary Estate such as: Mechanical Electrical; Building Fabric; and Fire contracts to the value of approx. 6m p.a.
Review and analyse tender proposals and make recommendations where appropriate.
Agreeing forms of contract procurement process, selecting evaluating tender submissions, managing the start-up process for new contractors.
You will be a point of escalation for the team to Manage the contracts with Suppliers.
To be the senior figure head at monthly contract management services
BAU lead will approach Contract Manager with problems/issues and need escalation/processes in place
BAU person will make sure that is happening and evidence collated will go back to contract manager if not being adhered to.
Leading a team including a quantity surveyor looking at costings, an assistant to the QS responsible for ppm Co-ordinator
Skills/Experience
Contracts Manager with good knowledge of Building Services, NEC 3-4 or similar qualification as well as NVQ L5 Facilities Management or equivalent qualification - some sort of qualification ie Degree in FM or similar - Construction/commercial/QS
Must have knowledge and experience of managing Contracts within Mechanical Electrical (ME), Building Fabric, Fire, Health Safety environment, heating/Ventilation
Experience of managing/knowledge of service delivery of a building services background better
Experience of successfully procuring and managing outsourced contracts in an FM environment ensuring they are compliant with required specifications.
Engages with and understands customer requirements and uses these to develop technical solutions or interventions to improve performance and achieve strategic organisational outcomes
