Our client has an urgent requirement for a Data Centre Manager to assist with the strategic review of their Data Centre footprint and manage any Data Centre related projects. Ideally you will have a strong knowledge of NLYTE and you will be SC Cleared and hold NPPV 3 clearance.

Responsibilities will include: -

• Set strategic objectives on Data Centre and M&E Infrastructure and manage the implementation of these objectives
• Day-to-day management of Data Centre including supplier management of outsourced Data Centres, physical security controls and access management
• Data Centre capacity management (Space, Power, Cooling, Connectivity)
• Defining Power Layouts for Racks in DC Suites (PDU, Phase, Single Phase, 3 Phase, Amperage)
• PM for all Data Centre/Facilities related projects
• Managing Project Controls including reporting on Progress, Financials, Schedule & Change Controls.
• Risk Management - Reporting Risks & Issues and planning for milestones within the project schedule
• Management of Data Centre and Office Facilities policies and procedures to align with Change Management process.
• Overall responsibility of managing & negotiating contracts for DC, BCP Space and M&E Vendors.
• Advisory on selection process for 3rd party vendors/suppliers
• Development and Deployment of Data Centre and Facilities Management Operational Standards along with continual review of Policies and Process documentation
• Good understanding/awareness of ISO Standards requirements (9001, 14001, 27001)
• Defining Physical Security controls around Data Centre and Office premises aligning to regulatory standards
• Planning and coordinating all Install, Moves & Decommissioning events in Data Centre
• Management of Data Centre and Facilities SLAs & KPI
• Ensuring all floor plans, Rack layouts, Cabling runs are managed
