We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer who has a good solid background working with Fortinet products in a very complex and expansive MPLS environment(s).

Candidates wishing to apply to this position should have both English and German language skills together with a demonstrable experience of working with large scale MPLS environments, and the following technologies; Fortigate Network Security Medior, Meraki switching and Access-Points, Layer2 and Layer3 - Cisco, Layer3 - OSPF - Troubleshoot, Nexus Configuration - new VLANs, and a basic WIFI knowledge.

The successful candidate will be based working onsite on a hybrid basis which will see you work three days onsite and the other two remote whereby you will be responsible for a mix of both BAU support and project work.

Example projects that you could expect to work on would be a complete European Refresh of our customers Wi-Fi (Meraki to 180 sites)

Setting up local Internet break out solutions and a project that will replace Routers to FortiGate Firewalls.

This is just a couple of examples of project with a customer that are exceptionally busy and where there will always be work to be done.

This role will require candidates to have a European involvement, whereas the customer was once restricted to a more regional solution, however given where the business is, they have a number of programs to move them to a more European focussed model. This position will focus on all things network related and therefore, bring much needed additional hands-on technical capability to the function.

Candidates will need to have German language skills (both written and spoken) and will be required to be onsite at our customers site 2 days per week.
