Hays are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join an ever evolving manufacturing business, based out of the Manchester area. Our client's finance department has gone through substantial changes in the last 12 months, including the appointment of a new & experienced finance director.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• The role will include improving and assisting in month-end delivery.
• Assist with the preparation for the upcoming 2024 audit.
• Assist with analysis ahead of the year-end audit.
• You will be a key interface with the external audit team, taking a leading role in supporting the external audit.

Personal Characteristics:

• Qualified Accountant or Part Qualified (CIMA or ACCA).
• Sharp eye for detail.
• Experience of working in an environment of strict cash management
• Preferably exposure/experience in a manufacturing or processing industry
• Excellent communication and excel skills.
• Experience of using an integrated ERP system, preferably LN.
