Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee SAP-related projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of SAP systems, and proven expertise in managing complex, cross-functional IT projects. This role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution

   • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for SAP implementation, upgrades, and integration projects.
   • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
   • Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and best practices.

2. Stakeholder Management

   • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure project requirements are met.
   • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and project sponsors.

3. Team Leadership

   • Lead cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts.
   • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

4. Risk and Issue Management

   • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
   • Resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

5. Budget and Resource Management

   • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial objectives.
   • Allocate and optimize resources effectively to meet project goals.

6. Quality Assurance

   • Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes, adhering to SAP standards and organizational policies.
   • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions.

Key RequirementsEducation and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• SAP certifications (preferred).

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing SAP projects (eg, ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.).
• Proven track record of delivering SAP implementations, migrations, or upgrade projects on time and within budget.
• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration points.
• Proficiency in tools like SAP Solution Manager, MS Project, JIRA, or other PM tools.
• Familiarity with data migration strategies and cloud-based SAP solutions.
