A prestigious company is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester. This role is focused on QA automation testing and working with Cucumber/Selenium testing frameworks. This QA will be testing applications and frameworks within ServiceNow

Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies, test plans, generate and execute functional and non-functional test cases, document and present written results to Client project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with client's agile team throughout the life cycle to collaborate on the analysis, design, development and testing.
• Actively participate in client's sprint(s) (each, a sprint ) planning and assist in creating Jira stories with robust acceptance criteria while helping identify missing or incomplete requirements.
• Analyze business and functional requirements, understand the expectation from Client for its end user(s), review with Business Analysts/SMEs/UX Analysts and design relevant test scenarios.
• Attend daily scrum standup and report testing issues in writing.
• Create test data, detailed test cases for validating business functions and regression testing.
• Articulate verbally and in writing the specifics around defects. Monitor and update defect reports in writing as needed to ensure timely problem resolution.
• Review and validate Jira stories to obtain client end user approvals.
• Identify test cases for automation and create manual regression test suite. Automate manual regression test suite using the agreed upon automation framework.
• Execute and test scripts in non-production environment.
• Demo the script execution to the team and users.
• Maintain automation scripts and provide support to the testing team.
• Participate in weekly status meetings.

Qualifications:

• Strong design and development skills in one of the following technologies and tools: Selenium, Cucumber and ServiceNow Automated Test Framework.
• Broad based knowledge of the Lifecyle development, change control management, test planning management.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to display methods of testing highly sophisticated systems, progressively diagnose system defects, and clearly communicate project constituents, key findings and learnings.
• Data Analytics and Reporting Experience/Knowledge.
