12 Month Contract

Exciting opportunity to join Platinum Groups financial services practice and be engaged on a project with a leading investment bank.

We require a Tech Lead/Senior Java developer who has expert understand of eFX trading platforms, is familiar with low latency and pricing and can lead small teams of devs.

This is to work on a Multi-Year programme. Expert hands on Dev skills are required, pricing and low latency experience is a must.

We are looking for a developer who we can engage on site with our client within the next 4 weeks with our leading financial services client

The desired profile would need to have experience in the following;

• Built or worked on eFX projects previously.
• Excellent pricing knowledge.
• Can lead a development team.
• Strong pedigree in Java development
• Min 5+ years Low Latency expertise and Latency development.
• Be able to do maintenance work and write new code
• Multithreading knowledge and microservices knowledge.
• Have experience of working with quants.
• Be able to work closely with traders, business analysts to understand requirements correctly.
• Pedigree in capital markets is an absolute necessity.

People will need to be available within 4 weeks.

The role will be inside IR35 and 2-3 days a week in the office
