Job Title: Content Designer
Length: 6 months initially, contract
Day rate: up to £650 inside IR35
Location: South West England
Working arrangements: hybrid with 2 days a week on-site
We are working on a Content Designer contract position with a government agency based in the South west of England. They are delivering an exciting programme providing more useful and accessible data for government departments, businesses and the public.
Responsibilities:
- Create, improve and manage user centred content that meets user needs.
- Identify and build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing and collaborating with them to improve the structure and quality of the content.
- Use data analytics, user research and usability testing to identify user needs.
- Map journeys and user stories to inform content strategy and design decisions to assure quality
Candidate requirements:
- An active SC (Security Check) clearance
- Experience working as a Content Designer ideally in a government organisation.
- Experience creating, updating and reviewing high quality, user-centred content.
- Experience using data and feedback to inform design decisions and improving content.
- Experience building strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience collaborating with user researchers, business analysts and interaction designers.
