Python Developer required to join a leading London Market Insurer as they enhance their business pricing tool. Working closely with the Group IT and Actuarial teams, you'll play a key role in the ongoing development and support of a critical business application that drives pricing and risk assessments. Responsibilities:

• Work on enhancing and maintaining the business pricing tool, ensuring it supports underwriting and actuarial functions effectively.
• Partner with Group IT and Actuarial teams to understand business requirements and ensure seamless integration and functionality of the tool.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for pricing, debugging, and ensuring that the tool is performing at its best.
• Provide clear documentation for updates, ensure the team has full visibility of any changes, and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage updates, and ensure tool performance remains at optimal levels.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Python development.
• London Market or Insurance experience is required
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Demonstrable ability to solve complex problems and continuously improve tool functionality.
• Experience in an agile environment with an iterative approach to development and deployment.
