We are seeking a Technical Lead to join a global team driving data and analytics solutions within a cutting-edge cloud environment. This is a leadership role where you will manage a diverse group of full-stack data engineers, oversee solution development, and act as the key technical point of contact for stakeholders.
About the Role
As a Technical Lead, you will:
- Provide technical leadership and oversee delivery in a global AWS-based data platform.
- Work closely with a distributed team spanning Mexico, Spain, India, and the UK.
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle, from design to hypercare.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to manage expectations and report progress.
- Foster an environment of innovation, agile delivery, and best practices.
- Lead the development of scalable cloud solutions, such as containerised ETL and automated testing processes.
- Manage global teams, ensuring successful delivery and efficient workflows.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Drive technical excellence by designing and documenting best practices.
- Proficiency in big data, ETL, and cloud tools, particularly AWS (eg, Python, Terraform, Glue, S3, SQS).
- Experience leading global teams and managing team-related tasks.
- Strong expertise in DevOps practices and tools.
- Analytical ability for data manipulation and problem-solving.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in technical leadership within data and analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira.
- Experience with Angular JS, Java, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, DBT, Redshift, Aurora, and Power BI.
