Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a User Researcher with active SC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and conduct user research activities, including contextual interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to gather insights on user needs and behaviors.
- Analyse and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to create actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including UX designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to inform design and development decisions.
- Communicate research findings through presentations, reports, and visuals to ensure a shared understanding of user needs.
- Champion user-centered design practices and ensure alignment with GDS standards.
- Identify user pain points and opportunities for service improvement.
- Manage and prioritize multiple research activities within an Agile delivery framework.
- Ensure compliance with ethical research practices and data protection standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a User Researcher, ideally within the public sector or GDS-aligned projects.
- Active SC (Security Clearance) is essential for this role.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Experience in planning, conducting, and analysing a variety of user research methods.
- Ability to effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative working practices.
- Proficiency in creating personas, user journey maps, and other research artifacts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
