Elasticsearch/AWS Engineer

Location: Hybrid (On-site 3 days per week in Luxembourg)

Contract Duration: 6 months+

We're looking for a Senior Elasticsearch Engineer to join our team, bringing a wealth of experience in Elasticsearch stack development and administration, alongside strong programming and cloud expertise.

What You'll Do:

• Design and manage data-driven use cases leveraging the Elasticsearch stack, including Logstash pipelines and index management.
• Work on Java-based custom and enterprise applications in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
• Implement and optimise DevOps CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Ansible and Shell Scripting to streamline processes.
• Conduct performance tuning and implement advanced visualisation techniques for distributed storage/computing environments.
• Leverage cloud platforms, preferably AWS, to build scalable and reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to prototype and deliver effective solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience with Elasticsearch stack (development, administration, data ingestion pipelines).
• 10+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years working on Java-based applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Shell Scripting, and DevOps workflows.
• Proven ability to work in distributed environments and handle performance optimisation.
• 2+ years of cloud experience, ideally AWS.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and self-learning abilities.
