Lead Data Engineer - Trading & Analytics - Investment Banking

A leading Investment Bank are hiring a Lead Data Engineer to help enhance their Front Office Analytics offering, as part of a wide-scale greenfield project.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Traders to build out the Front Office Analytics and Insights capabilities.
• Providing technical leadership, including guidance around architectural decisions.
• Introducing best practices to the team.
• Hands-on coding in Python for the majority of your day-to-day.
• Facing off to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong experience working with Python.
• Experience working with Data Architecture and Data Governance.
• Experience working with Financial Products.
• Experience working with Cloud based technologies.
• Experience in a Technical Leadership capacity.
