Power Platform Functional Consultant - 12 month FTC/£60K
Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate
Birmingham or London based - Hybrid working
This role includes designing, implementing and managing excellent Power Platform solutions for the business. Working with internal as well as external developers and the project team to deliver the business requirement while guiding on best value approaches. This role requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach to support, guide and enhance existing and new solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Build and Configure low-code/no-code solutions using Power apps and Power automate
- Provide on-going functional support to new and existing Dynamics 365 CE and power apps solution. Investigate errors and fix configurations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications and processes for continuous improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional team including internal and external developers to resolve technical issues.
- Subject matter expert and primary point of contact for some Dynamics systems (Rota management, Quality management and Asset management Systems)
- Collaborate with architects in evaluating and selecting power platform tools and technologies
- Engage with the stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and analyse requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specification and ensure technical teams have a clear understanding of objectives and expectations
- Write User Stories and Acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
- Configure and support Azure Logic apps and Azure Functions to streamline data flows
- Continuously striving to simplify system processes to improve user experience
- Show and Tell newly built functionalities to non-technical audiences
- Conduct User Acceptance testing and create User guides
- Produce UpToDate documentation to reflect system changes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features of Microsoft Power Platform.
Essential experience:
- Must have at least 3 years' experience working with Dynamics 365 CE
- Must have strong business analysis and communication skills
- Must have knowledge on PowerApps, Power Automate and integrations with Microsoft 653 and Dataverse
- Proficiency in configuring and using Power Platform tools without heavy reliance on code.
- Experience with full development life cycle. Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Maintenance
- Desirable to have experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Voice
- Ideally have achieved professional certification (PL - 200, PL - 400)
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Familiar with Azure DevOps
