We have an exciting job opportunity for RPG Developer role atLondon, UK - Contract/Permanent.

Job title: RPG Developer

Location: London, UK

Duration: Contract/Permanent

  • Working within an established team of 4 developers to accelerate delivery of invoicing process changes
  • Develop high quality code, including working on a largely existing code base to enhance functionality
  • Be able to work in a team of developers, coding in similar areas in parallel and able to switch as priorities require across the 6-month roadmap of work
  • Attention to detail is a must, ensuring code is well tested and provides accurate and timely billing data for £10m's of monthly invoices, and minimising defects for SIT and UAT teams
  • Work closely with the project management and BA to understand and deliver on requirements and optimising rollout schedules
  • Working with fellow developers and the technical architect to finalise designs for system changes, including aligning on approach with other invoicing systems
  • Strong programming skills needed in RPGLE, CLLE, and SQL, supported by a computer science of programming related degree
  • Ideally, experience in working with broking and financial asset classes
