Job title: Linux Systems Engineer
Salary: £55,000-£70,000 + Bonus
Location: Remote, ideally Midlands/Northern England

My client are looking to add another member to their Linux team due to company growth.

You will be responsible for working on Linux systems, covering a number of different responsibilities:

• Upgrades and patching
• BAU support
• Software deployments into Linux environments
• Working with cloud technologies (Azure)

Core skills required:

• Background in Linux Systems based work
• Experience in deploying software into enterprise, multi-site environments
• Understanding of Cloud technologies - Azure preferred, AWS accepted
• Appreciation of Storage
• Bash Scripting
• Some knowledge of MySQL/Database systems

The role is remote with approximately twice yearly travel to the office. An individual based in the Midlands or North of England is preferred.
