Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with our client to appoint a new Head of Development for the growing Tech function. This is a fantastic, new opportunity to join a transforming Technology journey, responsible for overseeing software deliverables across a large team of engineers both UK and overseas.

We're looking for someone from software background who has moved into management or a large team reporting to the most senior levels within an organisation.

This is true leadership role to drive quality software solutions, drive the vision and strategy of the future TOM for our clients business.

We're looking for someone with a strong grasp of CI and experience overseeing software and QA teams in a fast moving private sector software environment.

You'll have outstanding mentor-ship and personal development experience with solid stakeholder management experience up to C level.

Essential skills:

• Extensive Technology Leadership skills within software development
• Specific experience leading teams across Front End and Back End technologies
• Experience of managing a large (50 +) multi-location software tXeam
• Earlier career in software engineering - having progressed into senior leadership over the past number of years
• Experience of embedding best practice development techniques across a large, multi-location team
• Based local to Glasgow as this is an on-site role
