ICT Technician - £150 per day INSIDE IR35 - Onsite - MUST HAVE ACTIVE DBS - 2 Month initial contract - Birmingham

I am currently working with a prestigious organisation looking to appoint an ICT Technician to join their team on an interim basis. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the IT systems infrastructure and ensuring all IT-related systems function correctly, reliably, securely, and regularly updated.

As the ICT Technician, you will demonstrate initiative to troubleshoot problems and have good communication skills to help guide other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic development of all ICT systems
• Provide effective technical support for all users.
• Provide training to users as required
• Provide regular updates on faults/issues to all users via appropriate means.
• Audit and monitor the provision of ICT support to ensure IT resources are fully operational
• Oversee Wi-Fi provision across various VLANs.
• Manage all elements of the Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 tenancy.

Experience:

• Background check done (DBS)
• Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 tenancies
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software & operating system issues (including Windows 10, Mac OS, MS Office 365 and associated applications)
• Previous experience in user deskside support
• Strong communication skills
• Basic familiarity with network equipment
