Job Title: Risk Manager (Construction)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract Type: 6-month contract
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our team on a construction project in Dublin. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on project needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project life cycle to ensure compliance, safety, and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Identification and Assessment: Identify, analyze, and prioritize project risks, particularly related to construction activities within a hospital setting.
- Risk Mitigation Planning: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address identified risks.
- Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor risk factors, maintain risk registers, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders on the status of risk management activities.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all risk management activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols, particularly in relation to hospital construction.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk communication and alignment of risk management practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare risk management documentation, including risk assessment reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in risk management (eg, CRISC, PMI-RMP) are advantageous.
- Experience: Proven experience in risk management within the construction industry, preferably with experience on healthcare or hospital-related projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction risk management processes, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with hospital project standards and requirements is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative project environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
- Location: On-site in Dublin
