The Opportunity:

Our client are in the process of establishing a High Performance Computing (HPC) as-a-service capability.

They are looking for an individual who has experience in setting-up HPC as a service previously, ideally with a background in R&D or academic institutions.

The successful candidate will be required to go through a basic level of security clearance before commencing the role.

Skills and Experience:

• Must have experience of setting up a HPC as a service' capability and transitioning them into live service
• Previous experience of designing an appropriate operating model and service wrapper for HPC services that takes into account the available budget envelope
• An in-depth understanding of HPC data storage, high-performance file systems, storage tiering and archival systems
• Experience of working in a product ownership type role for HPC services, ideally with a background in R&D or academic institutions, with HPC or research computing
