Role:
The Risk Engineering Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the risk platforms in a complex financial domain. This team are leaders of innovation making use of modern technology to achieve business objectives and is integral to the organisation, delivering time-sensitive and business critical functionality whilst working in close collaboration with risk specialists and other teams within technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and implementation of Data Pipelines and Real Time applications
• Leading and educating the Risk team on engineering best practices
• Hands on cooperation with Risk team to build, maintain and improve existing systems
• Evolve the risk system for Real Time processing and scale-out to match business needs
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplined delivery teams and build relationships with business users and stakeholders
• Improve system's reliability and monitoring

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language
• Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging technologies
• Experience with data engineering
• Technical leadership, influencing people in the team
• Ability to pick up new skills in a fast-paced environment
