£500 - £600/day overall assignment rate to umbrella

Working with a FTSE 100 retail client who are looking for a SAS Developer to assist on a project transferring SAS processes to databricks (in SQL).

SAS Developer, responsibilities:

• Transferring SAS processes to Databricks (in SQL)
• Testing both to ensure accurate, and making sure that code is simplified where possible
• Document and in a state to be able to be picked up by the team
• Updates to existing SQL code
• Work autonomously and good communication as it's a particularly complex bit of work.

SAS Developer, key skills:

• Extensive skills in SAS and SQL
• Experience translating complex SAS code to SQL
• Exposure to pricing within general insurance
• Strong data management and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with statistical modelling, forecasting, and optimisation techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
