DV Cleared PySpark/Palantir Data Engineer - Defence - OUTSIDE IR35 Long term Contract - Hybrid (London)

Empiric are recruiting for an exciting new role for one of the most highly regarded Central Defence consultancies in London.

The position is within an innovative company that excels in groundbreaking, cutting edge, and end-to-end (from inception through to delivery) technology programmes that provide the opportunity to make a very real and tangible difference to Real Time current affairs.

It is a long-term deliverable, assisting across multiple defence and civil customers to support naval, land, air and nuclear operations in the UK.

This opportunity will be on a 6-month rolling basis and is predicted to be a 1-2 year long programme. The role is based in London and will require 2/3 days onsite.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in the following software programmes:

• PySpark
• Python
• GIT
• Postgres
• SQL
• Apache Airflow
• Apache Spark
• Apache Hifi

This programme and consultancy also offers the chance to work with one of the most sought after technologies in the market - Palantir. Therefore, any prior experience with this technology would be highly desired.

A successful candidate must also possess active DV Clearance and SOLE British Nationality.
