Position: Data Scientist
Project Duration: 12 months
Start Date: January 2025
Time Zone: Central European Time (CET)
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
On-Site Requirement: 3-5 days per week
Eligibility: Candidates must be currently residing in Portugal

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented data professional to join a high-impact team focused on solving complex business problems through data-driven insights.

As a key member of the team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and refining advanced analytical models and algorithms to provide actionable business insights.
  • Working in close collaboration with various teams across the organization to identify areas where data can drive strategic solutions.
  • Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from a variety of sources to support data-driven decision-making and business intelligence.

Key Skills & Experience:

To excel in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Cloud-Based Data Solutions: Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, in creating and managing data-driven products.
  • Data Analysis & Programming: Strong skills in statistical programming languages such as Python and SQL, with a focus on handling large datasets and deriving meaningful insights.
  • Machine Learning Techniques: A solid understanding of machine learning approaches, including clustering, decision trees, and neural networks.
  • Statistical Analysis: Expertise in statistical methods such as regression analysis and statistical validation techniques.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Team Collaboration:

You will be working closely with several internal teams, including:

  • Data Analysts
  • IT and Technology Leads
  • Data & Analytics Leads
  • Operations Management
