Financial Accountant

12 Months - 1 Day a Week Onsite

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to oversee day-to-day transactions, balance sheet management, actuals reporting, statutory accounts, and financial process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Actuals Management: Oversee the financial actuals of various companies, including monthly reporting and statutory accounts.
International Audits: Manage international audits and maintain relationships with local accounting, tax, or audit firms.
Project Accounting Review: Review and challenge business unit project accounting.
Ledger Integrity: Ensure the integrity of accounting ledgers, ensuring compliance with IFRS and the BAES Finance Policies Manual.
Ad Hoc Projects: Deliver ad hoc projects and process improvements, including entity rationalisation.

Skills and Experience Desired:
Qualified Accountant: Experienced qualified accountant, preferably ACCA or ACA.
Statutory Accounts and Audit: Proficient in statutory accounts and the statutory audit process.
IFRS Accounting: Strong knowledge of accounting under IFRS.
Financial Control Improvement: Demonstrated experience in financial control improvement.
Project Accounting: Solid experience in project accounting.
ERP - SAP Upgrade

Additional Requirements:
Auditing Experience: Significant auditing experience is important.
Financial Control: Proven experience in financial control, statutory accounts, and financial accounting.
