QA - SDET (Performance Testing):

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure the quality and performance of PEGA-based applications.
• Perform manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Conduct performance testing to identify and measure bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and ensure scalability.
• Analyze performance test results to identify trends, and root causes of performance issues, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and troubleshoot defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 -10 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on PEGA applications that includes at least 4 years of performance testing.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.
• Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks using PEGA's built-in tools or industry-standard frameworks.
• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques (eg, JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based environments (eg, AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Scripting languages (eg, Python, JavaScript).
• Certification in PEGA or other relevant testing certifications.
