Position: Material Inventory Controller
Pay rate: £22.00 p/h inside IR35.
Location: Brize Norton, Oxfordshire
Role Type: 12months + Contract
Position: Onsite 3 days a week
IO Associates is seeking a Material Inventory Controller to work for a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence, and space sectors. The company is a major player in the aviation industry, specializing in the design, manufacture, and delivery of commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, and space systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize material orders and movements.
- Handle items per logistics and airworthiness guidelines.
- Ensure accurate pick, pack, and system transactions.
- Sort and verify documents before packing.
- Confirm movements in SAP and link paperwork to parts.
- Store stock correctly after picking/packing.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Qualifications:
- Industries: Military, aviation, FMCG, pharmaceuticals would be preferred
- Working in warehouse and completing physical movement of parts
- Warehouse management system experience is needed
- Forklift and manual handling experience is needed
- Aerospace and SAP experience is ideal
