Data Platform Engineer - Azure, Databricks, Python, Kafka, ML/AI - London 3 days - PERM - £100k+

TrinIT Talent are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our customers team based in London 3 days a week and 2 days remote. This is a permanent position paying up to £100,000 depending on experience.

Job Description:-

Our client are looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer with strong technical skills in Python, SQL, Kafka, Airflow, Docker and Kubernetes. The client are looking to build a scalable data platform that allows them to create advanced analytics using machine learning and GenAI solutions in order to improve their Security Defences for the organisation.

You will be pivotal in the design, development and deployment of the brand new platform.

KEY AREAS:

• Data Architecture
• Data development - very strong dev skills required
• Technical Leadership
• Hands on development experience
• Data Security and Compliance
• Platform Automation and DevOps
• Understanding of Cyber Security platforms and Data Analytics would be a huge advantage

Key skills:-

• Data Platform Engineering on Azure
• MUST have big enterprise client experience with understanding of complex systems and large data flows
• Python, SQL, Kafka, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Databricks
• Experience of building platforms with ML/AI capabilities
• Understanding of Cyber Security platforms/processes
• Must have built a greenfield Data Analytics Platform using Python and SQL in Azure
