Methodologist, £22 per hour (umbrella rate) Various locations - Minimum 6-month contract

Are you an Analyst or Researcher looking for an opportunity to develop your skills whilst working in a huge data organisation.

These roles are hybrid and can be based in Hampshire, South Wales or North East England

We have an exciting vacancy for you to work with a public sector client for a minimum of 6 months. You will be working on the production of a range of economic statistics and indicators to be used by government, analysts, academia and the public alike, to help inform better decisions.

The role requires you to have or be eligible for SC clearance

What will you be doing;

• Design, develop and implement a SAS solution and maintain and improve existing SAS pipelines
• Assist in reviewing and developing methods and processes and implementing changes in a continuous improvement environment
• Produce comprehensive documentation and maintain a change log to ensure a clear audit trail.

I am keen to speak to candidates who have an interest in economic statistics with skills and experience including:

• Experience in SAS development with strong SAS programming skills (data manipulation and analysis)
• Strong statistical and data analysis skills along with problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and compiling technical documents
• Able to explain complex and technical matters to a non-technical audience
• Ability to respond to changing priorities, as needed, and to work at pace

It would be beneficial if you have working knowledge of Python also
