Complaints Officer - Inside IR35
We have an urgent requirement for a Complaints Officer to oversee the effective management of complaints related to resident students, ensuring all concerns are handled with professionalism, sensitivity, and timeliness. This role is responsible for the end-to-end process of reviewing, investigating, and responding to resident student complaints, while also maintaining oversight of guest and customer complaints received by the broader department. The Complaints Officer will follow established complaints procedures to deliver responses that are concise, comprehensive, and respectful, upholding the department's standards for high-quality service and student care.
Essential Experience includes:
Demonstrable experience formal complaints handling processes and best practices.
Experience in dealing with conflict resolution
Demonstrable experience of multitasking and delivering a range of complex projects and tasks to tight deadlines.
Awareness of relevant regulations, data protection, and confidentiality standards in complaints handling.
Understanding of and commitment to Equality and Diversity including the Equality Act 2010.
Experience of working in the Higher Education sector.
Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to complaint handling
Demonstrable experience formal complaints handling processes and best practices.
Experience in dealing with conflict resolution
Demonstrable experience of multitasking and delivering a range of complex projects and tasks to tight deadlines.
Awareness of relevant regulations, data protection, and confidentiality standards in complaints handling.
Understanding of and commitment to Equality and Diversity including the Equality Act 2010.
Experience of working in the Higher Education sector.
Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to complaint handling
