Role: Project Manager (defence)

Location: - Bristol/Chippenham/London M25 (North) (Hybrid working, 3 days on-site)

Duration: 3 months

Day rate: £560 inside IR35

Active MOD SC Clearance required

Role description:

Our client requires a project manager with experience delivering complex IT solutions for the Ministry of Defence (MOD), including oversight of on-site subcontractor performance, is vital. Familiarity with cybersecurity delivery within the Defence community is highly desirable, contributing to a secure and compliant project environment. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working on bids and winning new business, showcasing an understanding of proposal development and strategic client engagement.

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience as a Project Manager, delivering complex solutions. The value of delivery (Not contract) will typically have been between £5 Million and £20 Million but this should not be viewed as the deciding dimension of this role versus others.
• Expected to have attained an advanced project management qualification - Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP, APM RPP etc.
• Working with customers in leadership roles (ie IT Manager, Programme Manager etc.).
• Financial tracking and management of a large programme.
• Creating Stakeholder management and Communication Plans.
• Manging significant risk.
