Job Description:
"The Engagement Manager (EM) will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex Backup and Storage solutions. The EM will manage all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while aligning with business objectives. This role requires a strong background in IT infrastructure, storage solutions, backup technologies, and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with account leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop/maintain detailed project plans using QWIZ.
- Good understanding of e-Monitoring to support internal reporting requirements.
- Good understanding of One Finance to manage project finances.
- Identify and document project risks, issues, dependencies.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including architects, SMEs, engineers, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, track critical tasks, and resolve issues promptly by escalating as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk/issue logs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and clients.
- Provide regular status updates, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project life cycle.
- Identify resource needs and collaborate with functional managers to secure the necessary expertise, especially from account aligned storage and backup SMEs."
