For our longterm client we are looking for a very experienced Linux Engineer who can support the internal team with backup solutions.
Preferred are engineers who are open for a longterm commitment as a permanent employee.

Tasks:
* Responsibile for the planning, implementation and management of backup solutions on Linux systems
* Regular backup and recovery tests for data integrity and security
* Analyze and troubleshoot backup issues and work closely with other IT teams to continuously optimize backup strategies and processes
* Creating, maintaining documentation and guidance as well as conceptualizing and designing backup and restore scenarios for business critical platform services
* Technical solutions for the implementation and optimization of these scenarios

Skills:
* Longterm experience in Linux operating systems
* Several years of experience in implementing backup and restore processes
* Experience in managing backup technologies and processes in large, production environments
* Affinity for cloud native technologies, as well as for the topic of backup in the context of container technologies and Kubernetes
* The ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop efficient solutions
