Role: Infrastructure Senior Consultant

Duration: 6 months + Extension

Start date: ASAP

Location: Portugal

Language: Portuguese

Capacity: 5 Days per week, Occasional On-site in Lisbon

Job description:

• Troubleshooting Incidents: Systematically identify, analyse, and resolve intricate issues within network infrastructures to restore optimal functionality. Ability to Utilise advanced knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software to isolate problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with team members and leverage advanced diagnostic tools to ensure rapid and accurate problem resolution.
• System Administration: Manage environments with physical and virtual Servers in both public and private clouds, working across application and network layers.
• Administer multivendor operating systems (Linux, Windows), including patching, updates, backups, monitoring, and infrastructure services like AD, DNS, and DHCP.
• Vitalisation: Operate vitalisation environments using market-leading vendors such as
• VMware and Hyper-V, ensuring high availability through SAN networks, fabric Switches, clusters, and storage solutions.
• Security Assessment: Implement and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorised access and other threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Server Management: Configure and maintain Servers, install and configure operating systems and services, and perform maintenance to enhance system efficiency
