The role:
In this role, you will oversee a variety of indirect spend categories, including management consultancy and legal services.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers.
Manage indirect spends.
Oversee supplier relationships, including KPI tracking and quarterly reviews.
Manage contracts, including renewal tracking and maintaining the contract register.
Analyse volume reports to ensure contract benefits and support complex procurement projects.
Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation.
Identify and manage risks within the procurement process.
Requirements:
Has significant experience in leading the development and execution of category strategies and management of tendering events.
Brings prior experience from roles such as Senior Category Lead or Senior Buyer - Alternatively if you're ready to step up into a more senior capacity, we encourage you to apply.
Can effectively communicate, engage, and form dynamic teams with stakeholders building strong working relationships at all levels.
Can collate and organise data, analyse commercial issues and bring insight to the detail of costs and contracts.
Can scope, deliver, and execute robust fit for purpose contractual agreements.
Achievement of a CIPS qualification or working towards is advantageous, but not essential.
