Home based with travel UK
£40-50,000 + company bonus, overnight allowance, healthcare, pension.
The Role
One of the UK's leading suppliers of highly complex, pharmaceutical process equipment is now recruiting for a Commissioning Supervisor (or CQV Supervisor) to join their busy and expanding projects team in the UK.
As the Commissioning Supervisor you will be planning and project managing all aspects of site installation and validation works at pharmaceutical customer sites.
You will be responsible for;
- planning engineers time
- ensuring H&S requirements are met for each site including preparing methods statements and risk assessments
- ensuring other site protocols are met to allow engineers on site
- being a point of contact for customers
- presenting to customers on packs that customers have purchased and talking them through what to expect
- advising on utility design
- being a general support person for CVQ engineers working on site
- handling 4-8 CQV projects at any given time.
Travel
As a Commissioning Supervisor you will be working from with the requirement to travel UK wide up to 40% of the time, to visit customer sites.
There may be a requirement to stay overnight on occassions, however this will only be 1-2 nights at a time as most site visits will last 1-2 days.
What is on offer?
- Basic salary of £40-55,000 (experience dependent)
- Company Bonus (estimated at 6%)
- Overnight allowance
- £5/d lunch allowance when out in the field
- Paid travel with the option to use pool vehicles when travelling to customer sites
- Private pension, employers contribution increasing with length of service
- 25 days increasing to 28 days with length of service
What experience is required to apply?
- Experience as a Commissioning Engineer or Commissioning Supervisor (CQV Engineer or CQV Supervisor)
- Knowledge of planning and H&S in relation to the installation, commissioning, validation of machinery
- Experience in a high regulated manufacturing or processing equipment field eg pharma, F&B, FMCG, O&G etc.
