Wireless Baseband Architect
About the Role:
On behalf of one of global RAN Technology OEM research units, we're looking for a dynamic and experienced Wireless Baseband Architect to lead the design of next-generation baseband lower system architectures for B5G/6G wireless products. This role offers the opportunity to tackle cutting-edge challenges in wireless communication, driving innovation in physical layer architecture.
Responsibility:
- System-Level Architecture Design: You will be responsible for designing the system-level architecture of the baseband lower (physical layer) for 5.5G/6G wireless products. This includes translating L1 business requirements into software and hardware requirements, and proposing comprehensive architectural solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct technical studies and lead architectural discussions to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with physical layer algorithm developers, hardware designers, and software experts. You will coordinate work across different teams, including close cooperation with the wireless teams in Shanghai.
- Drive Innovation: Identify and implement innovative architectural strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of baseband lower systems.
What you should bring on:
A minimum of 10+ years of industrial or academic experience in baseband lower system design and implementation, specifically focusing on:
- Translating baseband lower business requirements (eg, PUSCH, PDSCH) into software and hardware designs.
- Software architecture design for the physical layer.
- Hardware architecture design for the physical layer.
- Experience in fronthaul design is highly desirable
Strong expertise in wireless physical layer applications and extensive experience in the design and implementation of baseband lower solutions.
Key Skills: Proven experience in system architecture design (software and hardware) for the physical layer.
Solid understanding of wireless communication standards and protocols, with a focus on physical layer technology.
Strong leadership abilities to drive technical studies and coordinate between international teams.
Experience working in global, multicultural environments.
