Senior Data Scientist - Marketing Mix Modelling
Are you a seasoned Data Scientist with expertise in Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)? A prestigious pharmaceutical client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact projects in data-driven marketing optimisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world marketing challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Collection & Analysis: Oversee data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and readiness for modelling.
- Model Building: Design base models, integrating KPI drivers, selecting variables, and interpreting coefficients to align with project goals.
- Model Enhancement: Refine and build upon base models to enhance accuracy and reliability, guiding the model towards finalisation.
- KPI & Scenario Analysis: Generate response curves, optimisation charts, and budget allocation scenarios to meet forward-looking client objectives.
- Model Validation: Assess model performance, pinpoint improvement areas, and ensure robustness and validity.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Marketing Mix Modelling with a proven track record of developing and implementing MMM models.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level Python and SQL skills, with familiarity in R and solid experience with Pymc and cloud-based data science frameworks (Azure preferred).
- Advanced Statistical Knowledge: Proficient in regression-based models, probabilistic programming, and Bayesian methods.
- Complex Data Management: Expertise in working with large datasets using SQL and Spark.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong foundation in optimisation, applied mathematics, and simulation.
- Education: MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline with a solid modelling background.
