PHP Container Migration Engineer - Contract - London

A long established institution in the Higher Education sector are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with extensive experience in PHP container migrations.

• The position will provide vital assistance in migrating workloads from on-prem to the cloud.
• You will support with any issues moving between PHP version, specifically PHP 5.3 to PHP 8.3.
• Help the onboarding support throughout the migration to provide an efficient work streams.
• Work closely with the wider team throughout the discovery phases

The Requirements

• Practical experience with load balancing, preferably F5/Cloudflare
• Practical web hosting experience with Apache, PHP tomcat, AWS
• Practical experience with managing SSL certificates
• Senior Linux system admin experience and understanding of technologies like BIND DNS, SMTP.
• Practical skills with container management, life cycles, ECS
• Practical skills with terraform
• Experience with migrating workloads from PHP5.3 to 8.3
• Full UK Right to Work required - No sponsorship options available

• £420 per day - Inside IR35
